More Than Skin Deep in D.C.

As a discipline which covers the “largest organ of the body”, dermatology is so much more than just aesthetics. Dermatologists diagnose and treat over 3,000 different conditions related to the skin, including eczema, acne, psoriasis, and skin cancer. Like dermatologists, UV Skinz’ cares about sun safety, and it is our mission to ensure families stay protected from the sun’s rays while enjoying the outdoors. Once a year the UV Skinz team gets to travel to AAD’s Annual Meeting and speak with hundreds of doctors over the course of several busy days. We discuss the importance of sun protection, and connect with incredible dermatologists and staff who share similar passions for maintaining skin health and preventing the development and progression of skin cancer…and this year we are excited to say the meeting will be held in Washington D.C.! :)
