UV Skinz Employee Travel Bucket List
Where would you go if you could visit anywhere? That’s what we asked five UV Skinz employees, and here are their diverse bucket list destinations:
Lorilee Lucas, director of design and development, says she wants to visit India for yoga teacher training, cultural immersion and apparel factory tours. “I adore factory tours,” she says. “I love the rich colors, prints, patterns of their textiles and the traditions associated with their ancient philosophies.”

She also hopes to visit New Zealand, specifically the Waitomo Glowworm Caves. “Really any cave tours are awesome,” she says. “I love the feeling of being deep in the earth, the coolness of the air and the magic of the life that has adapted to the surroundings.”
As for the U.S., Lucas wants to hike The Narrows in Zion National Park and explore Antelope Canyon in Arizona. “It’s gorgeous and every time I go there, it’s either dangerous heatstroke weather or flash flood warnings,” she says. “My trip has been foiled a few times and I want to see it in person.”
Kayla Harris, fulfillment/warehouse team lead, says there are many places she would love to see, but Italy is at the top of her list.
“My dad’s side of the family is from Italy — as you can tell by my maiden name, Lagomarsino — and I would love to see where my family comes from,” she says. “There is so much history there and it looks absolutely beautiful. If I could travel to Italy, I would be able to meet many cousins that have lived their whole lives there.”

Mark Clement, accounting manager, hopes to someday make it to Hawaii, Germany and Russia. While looking towards the future, he also wants to remember his past.
“Something that holds the top spot on my bucket list is recreating travel experiences from my youth,” he says. “More so than a destination is the experiences of getting there. I want my kids to experience the humidity of the Midwest, fireflies in Illinois (we can skip the chiggers), traffic in Manhattan, the emptiness of the Nevada desert and the uninterrupted view of the Milky Way from the desert of Zion National Park.”
Nicole Robinson, with UV Skinz’s customer service department, says she wants to make her travels service-oriented.
“I think Africa is at the top of my list,” she says. “I would love to spend some time there volunteering and working with kids. When I was 8, I had a pen pal in Ethiopia that I would write back and forth with — she lived in an orphanage there. I have a pipe dream of being able to track her down and meet her someday. Other than Africa, I’d love to make it to Nepal to challenge myself with some trekking and enjoy the beautiful outdoors.”
Megan Hornberger, production and technical design assistant, says she’s starting to check places off her travel bucket list: Mexico, check. Switzerland, check. Russia, check.
“The one place I would absolutely love to go is Greece,” she says. “I am just drawn to the culture, landscape, architecture, and of course the food! I hope to make this dream a reality sometime in the near future.”
