Ordered Small (6/8) for my very lean 7 year old boy and it’s snug. Having to order a size up. Feel like everything is a size below what it should be. Haven’t washed it yet but am worried it will shrink further.

The best thing for picking the kid up from his swim lesson, or for when he gets chilly at the beach. Very snuggly and dries kid off well. Expected the 6-8 to be huge on my 30th percentile 4-year-old, but it’s just a little big. Definitely size up.

We’re in love with these hooded beach cover-ups! I will say that we sized up! I originally ordered a small for my two kiddos who are wearing size 6-8, and I had to exchange them for a medium! The size medium fit MUCH better.. more roomy in the arms so it’s easier to get on and off (especially when wet), and the robes are also on the shorter side so it worked out perfectly! The company made the exchange process a breeze! My kiddos and I both love them!!

All the beach cover ups I found online seemed to be geared towards girls like a dress then I found these. I bought two. I like that I can just pack one of these instead of a beach towel. My son is 5. I’ve taken this to swim practice, on boat trips, hotel pool etc. I like that I can just hand it to him and he does the rest - zips it up etc. for his height it completely covers his bottom.

I ordered these for my 2 boys. The 6-8 was tiny… my son couldn’t even get it on because the sleeves were so tight. (He is average height and weight for a 6-year-old). The 10-12 was way too small for my smaller-than-average 9 year old, but it fit my 6-year-old well. Unfortunately I had washed these so likely cannot return the smaller one that we can’t use.
