The holiday season is truly a magical time, not just because of the festive decorations and the cheer in the air, but because it brings us closer to those we cherish and reminds us of our treasured traditions. At UV Skinz, we’re all about family - both the ones we’re born into and the ones we choose. This year, as we reflect on gratitude and the joys that fill our lives, we're excited to share a slice of holiday spirit from our UV Skinz family to yours. Join us as we explore some of our favorite traditions, cherished memories, and what we are most grateful for.
“What I love about the holiday season is the chance to pause in our busy lives and truly connect with the people around us. I treasure the quiet moments of introspection, catching up with friends and family I don’t see as often, and breaking out those delicious recipes saved for special occasions.”

“My kids & I love making ornaments out of cinnamon with cookie cutters. We have also made garlands with these and dried orange slices & star fruit. This is always a fun way to make a mess that also makes the house smell good & creates memories.”

“A favorite holiday tradition we like to do every year is getting an ornament that represents the year for us for every family member. We didn't have a great deal of ornaments for the tree five years ago and were using store-bought, generic ones for the first Christmas in our new house. We have been slowly building our collection by adding new ones every year. It's fun to reflect on each ornament as we hang them decorating the tree as a family and cherishing those memories together. This year is special as we were able to make our own Lego characters when we went to Legoland which I'm making into ornaments. I love the fact that I have so many amazing memories with my little family.”

“Every year, we pick a night to decorate the tree. We turn the TV off or put a video of a fireplace on with Christmas music. I bake cookies and make everyone hot cocoa while we decorate the tree. We also open one gift on Christmas Eve. In the last four years or so, we have started a tradition of having a Christmas Eve box. The box contains pajama bottoms and/or slippers, popcorn, hot chocolate mix, a box of theater candy, and a little toy, gift card, book, or something else that's a little extra.”
