500+ Free Skin Cancer Screenings

The Skin Cancer Foundation is back on the road and making a difference with their Destination Healthy Skin program. This year, the Destination Healthy Skin bus will visit 21 cities, throughout the U.S., giving free skin cancer screenings at each stop.

The 2021 tour reached its halfway point with some incredible results. In the first 2 months, over 500 free screenings were conducted. With those screenings, 103 potential skin cancers and precancers were discovered, including 7 possible melanomas.

Regular screenings are a vital part of battling skin cancer. The key is early detection. 99% of all skin cancer cases are curable when identified early.
