I ordered the magical unicorn swimsuit with the matching hat. It was super cute and I was waiting for my daughter to wear it when she got a little older since it was a 12/18 month size. I brought it with me on vacation for the summer and it is way too small. Her arms couldn’t even get through and the torso was way too tight. My daughter is only 10 month old and is 20 lbs, but she couldn’t fit in it. I think she would suffocate if I tried to zip it up. She fits into 12month, 2 piece swim suits from other brands, so I thought it wouldn’t be a problem. Funny thing is, the hat is way too big on her right now, but she’ll eventually grow into it.

The Wandering Flowers, Birds in Paradise, and Daisy Fields colorways are truer to size and should not be sized up. These colorways have a better fit, making it easier to get on and off your child. Too small an opening for my 6 Mo old granddaughter. She fits into the 12-18 Mo size but she’s just 18 lbs. Fortunately, I bought two sizes so the larger size works.
