Measuring Tips

Here are some tips to help you order the correct size. If you don't have a measuring tape, no problem! Use a piece of string or ribbon to mark the measurement and then hold it alongside a ruler or yard stick to find the measurement.

Head Circumference

Measure around your head just above your ears angling slightly up across your forehead to get your full head circumference.

Bust

Lift your arms slightly and measure around your body (without a shirt is best), crossing over the fullest part of your chest.

Chest

Lift your arms slightly and measure around your body (without a shirt is best), crossing over the fullest part of your chest.

Waist

Measure around the natural waist, where you normally wear your pants, shorts or skirt.

Waist

Measure around your waist where your pants or shorts usually fall.

Hip

Stand with your heels together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Seat

Stand with your heels together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Arm Length

With your arm bent at 90 degrees, place your hand on your hip. Measure from the back of your neck to your shoulder, elbow, and wrist.

Foot Length

Lay a ruler or yardstick on the ground and stand with your heel positioned at “zero”. Measure the full foot length from heel to the end of your big toe. If you have a second ruler, its handy to use the second ruler to make sure your heel aligns perpendicular to “zero” and big toe aligns perpendicular to the final foot length measurement

I really wanted to love these, but the fit is off and not flattering on me. And the pocket is in an odd place and arranged in a way that it is hard to get to and not useful for me. I do love the colors and the thumb holes, but wet or dry, it’s not as comfortable as the other shirts I have purchased from UV Skins. There was an odd shipping issue with my order, FedEx’s fault, and the customer service team was very helpful in trying to sort out the issue in a timely manner. They were able to zero in on FedEx’s mistake and get it sorted where I was unable to with my direct contact with FedEx. I also really appreciated that there was an actual live person that answered the phone rather than an automated system.

Women's Long Sleeve Crew Sun & Swim Shirt Wild Rose

Beautiful and comfortable! I may have been able to wear the XS, but I'm content with this size (I'm 5'3", 34" bust, 30.5" waist, 39.5" hips). The "Wild Rose" is a lovely pink, the fabric is soft and comfortable, and the arms are comfortable even with the thumbs through the thumb hole and arms stretched high over head (the belly still remains covered too). I love the feel and fit of the long sleeve shirt. I get a lot of compliments and I’m glad to know I'm keeping my skin safe from the some. A tag or stamp in the back of the shirt would help so I know the front from the back.

However, we understand everyone's experiences are different. We do have this product available in Short Sleeve. Another option would be the Women's Classic Water Jacket, as that has a full zipper to allow for air to circulate. If you would like something that is more like a shirt, our Women's Long Sleeve Quarter Zip Sun & Swim Shirt is also a great option, as you can unzip it a bit for some air! If you are looking for something that doesn't need to go in the water, our Women's Long Sleeve Everyday Tee is an excellent option. That's made with our Bamboo Viscose blend and very breathable. Love this!

I really like this shirt! I have ordered tons and this is the first one I’ve truly liked wearing. At first I wasn’t sure about how see through it is, but it’s fine. True to size. I am 5’6” and 170 lbs and like L shirts that are a bit baggy.

Love it!

I love mine. I love that there's a pink option. It also has a little zip pocket which was a nice surprise. I'm allergic to sunscreen, so this was a great alternative. 2XL was a bit snug on me and my measurements are 49 Bust 40.5 Waist 52 Hips for reference.
