The 6 Big Questions of Sunscreen
The Who, What, When, Where, How, and Why questions are important to know when it comes to protecting your skin from the sun's harmful UVA & UVB rays. Be sure to ask yourself these questions before having a day under the sun.
WHO: Everyone who is under the sun. If you are going outside, this applies to you!
WHAT: Broad spectrum mineral sunscreen of SPF 15 or higher; SPF 30 or higher if you are going to be outside.
WHEN: Sunscreen should be applied every day, and 30 minutes prior to going outdoors. It is important to reapply every two hours.
WHERE: Applying sunscreen to all exposed skin is the most effective way.
HOW: One Ounce (a shot glass full) should be applied to the entire body for each application.
