Apparel Production Assistants

We are in search of TWO Full-time, entry level, Apparel Production Assistants to work in our Design, Development and Production Department. 


Assistants will report to the Production Manager and are responsible for assisting with the design and development side of the garment production process.

Responsibilities (Including but not limited to)

*Note: These are trainable opportunities. If you do not have experience in any of these particular areas, not to worry, but if you do, great news!

  • Assist with research and design into new product development as well as product packaging.
  • Assist with color research by maintaining and organizing color swatches.
  • Assist in sourcing and development of fabrics and trims used within the garments.
  • Review strike offs and lab dips as well as meter samples sent from our fabric mills to ensure that they meet our color standards and expectations.
  • Help create tech packs for new development while updating packs for current styles that include garment measurements, construction details, and fabric/trim information.
  • Organize and manage trim library and samples.
  • Help to schedule fittings with our local models and attend fittings by taking notes.
  • Spec proto and garment samples to ensure they are up to measurement, pattern, color, and quality standards.
  • Being able to thoroughly inspect garments for any errors found during production and/or quality control checks.
  • Maintain email correspondence with overseas factories when needed.
  • Coordinate and organize samples that we receive from our factories.

Skills and Qualifications

    • Basic skills in Excel are desired.
    • Experience in Illustrator is a plus but is also a trainable opportunity.
    • Having an eye for distinguishing between different colors within our seasonal and core palettes.
    • Being able to flex and pivot as things change day to day for priorities based on needs of production.
    • A fun and creative mindset.
    • Excellent communication skills. The ability to work well both independently and with a team.
    • Personal passion and interest for fashion and/or sun protection/skin cancer awareness is a huge plus.
    • The ability to manage a schedule and meet deadlines efficiently and effectively.
    • Positive outlook on life and good sense of humor mandatory!
    • Desire to grow and develop further within the company long-term.

Job Type: Full-time


Pay: $16-18/hour


Schedule: Monday to Friday 8AM-5PM PST. Some flexibility in hours can be considered if needed. 


Ability to commute/relocate: Sonora, CA 95370: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred). 


Physical Setting: Office


Experience: 

- High School Diploma

- Having a degree or any experience from a fashion design school is a huge plus

- 1-3 years of previous job experience
